Customer’s Card Is Not Working

Questions for customer

  • Have you activated your card?
  • Is your credit card on file expired?
  • Did customer use card at entrance?

If you have not activated your card, it will show “locked” and “out”.  If you need to activate your card please go to the link above to "activate my card".  Please verify the last four digits of your credit card on file when submitting.

Make sure you keep your credit card on file updated and your card has not expired.

A card holder cannot use the Parking Plus card at exit unless the card was used on entrance.  There must be an entrance and an exit in order for a full transaction to occur.  Customers cannot take a ticket and use the Parking Plus card.

Customer is not receiving emailed receipts

Check and make sure we have your email address in the system.  The first batch of applications had no field for you to give us your email address.  If you mailed an application manually (not applied on line) and then you manually activated your card (by phone, not on line) then odds are we do not have your email address.  Give us your email address by updating your account above.

Can they apply past visits to their account?
No.  We can only credit customers with points when they use their Parking Plus card.

Can cash customers use this program?
No.  Only customers with a credit card on file can earn miles/free parking.

When do they get credit for their miles and free parking?
The miles are transmitted to the airlines at month end.  The miles are sent in 500 mile increments.  The free parking is calculated at month end as well.  Customers that are due free parking vouchers will receive those in the mail by the middle of the next month.
 
How do customers redeem their free parking vouchers?
When you plan on using your free parking vouchers, you must enter the Parking Cents lot and take a ticket upon entrance.  Do
NOT use the Parking Plus card for the visit on which you plan on redeeming your free parking vouchers.

You cannot go to a cashier to pay.  You must use the Instapark machine.  Upon exit, input the ticket pulled at entrance.  The parking fee will be calculated.  Input the free vouchers, one at a time, to reduce the balance.  You can use one or as many as necessary to bring your balance to zero.  If there is a balance due, you must then pay the balance due with your credit card.  You cannot not attempt to use your Parking Plus card at exit for this visit.* 

* Since there is no entrance on record for this visit, the Parking Plus card will not work since a ticket was pulled on entrance.

Parking Plus miles or points will not be accrued during a visit where free parking vouchers were redeemed.  You will therefore, not receive an email receipt for this visit.

Free parking points are considered redeemed against your account balance when issued, whether they are redeemed or not by the customer.
